This free webinar will explore the theory and practical application of Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) throughout a person's inpatient rehabilitation program. The speakers will discuss how providing maximum possible communication for all patients at all times improves patient engagement and results in:
- improved outcomes while mitigating long-term costs;
- lowering the amount of burden placed on caregivers;
- providing the best opportunity for assessment and treatment.
The webinar will also look at access to AAC and treatment applications.
